Athletics: Deadline for National Capital Marathon Elite Athlete Bursary extended to Friday, Feb 13th, 2004

The National Capital Marathon announced today that the deadline for National Capital Marathon Elite Athlete Bursary has been extended to Friday, Feb 13th, 2004.

There have been requests for additional time from prospective applicants to collect the required documentation.

This award is open to any Canadian citizen that will be a full-time post-secondary student in the 2004-2005 academic year.

The award is $3000 CDN. It includes free travel & accommodation to Ottawa for the National Capital Race Weekend (May 28-30th) and free entry into the race of their choice (if the athlete wishes to compete).
