Athletics: Canada Running Series 2004 - A Selection of Canada's Best Runs

Fact Sheet:

§ As Canada's premier running series, the Canada Running Series offers a highly targeted, strongly focussed way to reach the important, expanding, mid-and-upscale "healthy lifestyles" crowd.

§ Each run is partnered with an important local charity, strongly grounding the events in their local communities, as well as providing highly visible, national exposure in the fitness community.

§ In 2003, more than 21,000 participants of the Canada Running Series raised almost a half million dollars for various charities.

§ Currently, the series offers an almost equal male/female demographic, while 10 years ago 80 percent of the runners were male.

§ A wide range of distances in the Canada Running Series' events offers an even more-focussed and targeted opportunity.

§ For 2004, the Canada Running Series/Circuit du Canada will feature 8 "Core" events and 4 or 5 "Associate" events to provide national coverage:
