Posted: February 6, 2004 Triathlon: Double Hawaii Winner DeBoom To Compete in Opel Ironman Germany The world class line up of Opel Ironman Germany Triathlon 2004 has been upgraded again. Two-time Ironman Hawaii winner Tim DeBoom of Colorado recently confirmed for the race, taking place 11 July 11, 2004 in the city of Frankfurt am Main. The 33-year-old DeBoom had already announced his participation in January and received one of the last slots available for Opel Ironman Germany Triathlon. Due to a surprising rush, the race's registration was closed last in early February. After he succeeded in Ironman Triathlon World Championship in 2001 and 2002 DeBoom now wants to win Opel Ironman Germany Triathlon. He will be facing strong competition from all Top 3 finishers of Ironman Hawaii 2003: Peter Reid (CAN), Rutger Beke (BEL) and Cameron Brown (NZL) as well as from Stefan Holzner (GER), who won Opel Ironman Germany Triathlon in 2003.
