Triathlon: Triathlon Canada Announces WestJet Discount for KOS Race Series Travellers

The Kids of Steel® Race Series Committee is pleased to provide details of a WestJet discount arrangement established for travellers to each venue of the 2004 Race Series:

· A conference/convention booking account number (QC#2481) has been established by WestJet for the upcoming 2004 Kids of Steel® Race Series.
· Travellers can save 10% from WestJet’s best available fare at the time of the booking (excluding seat sales) from any city that Westjet flies. Travellers must make their travel arrangements through WestJet’s Specialty Sales Team and quote the account number at the time of the booking.
· Discounted rates are available for a specific “travel window” and a designated airport for each event. The travel window was set up to also accommodate youth skill development camps associated with each race. Details are as follows:

St. Malo - Winnipeg Airport – Eligible Travel Dates (Inclusive) June 24 to July 2, 2004

Welland - Hamilton Airport- Eligible Travel Dates (Inclusive) June 29 to July 7, 2004

Edmonton- Edmonton Airport- Eligible Travel Dates (Inclusive) July 2 to July 14, 2004

Caledon – Toronto Airport - Eligible Travel Dates (Inclusive) July 23 to August 4, 2004

Drummondville - Montreal - Eligible Travel Dates (Inclusive) August 9 to August 18, 2004

Kelowna- Kelowna - Eligible Travel Dates (Inclusive) August 15 to August 24, 2004

This is one of several steps taken by the Race Series Committee to reduce costs for our young athletes to ensure as many as possible will have the opportunity to participate in the race series this summer. A homestay program is also being established at each venue to reduce accommodation costs. Watch for further details to be posted as they become available.
