Triathlon: Wildhaus ITU Winter Triathlon World Championships The Winter Triathlon World Championship has now finished in Wildhaus, Switzerland. Sigrid Lang (GER) won the Women's Elite Race in Wildhaus, ahead of Holland's Marianne Vlasfeld who rode closely with her right up to the 3rd Leg (SKI) when Lang took off on her own. Notably, Switerland's own Karin Mobes finished in a very impressive 3rd place, having just returned after suffering a savage attack by a dog recently. Sigi Bauer (AUT) won the Men's Elite Race, ahead of local favourite Othmar Brugger (SUI) in 2nd - with Mountain-biker Petter Jorgensen (NOR) a a surprise 3rd More...from the ITU.
