Posted: April 10, 2004 Sports: NYC Photo Exhibit Celebrates Women's Sports From David Monti (c) 2004 Race Results Weekly, all rights reserved RaceResultsWeekly.com A photo exhibition scheduled to open on 15-Apr at the World Financial Center in New York City will celebrate the impact that sports and play have had on girls and women. The exhibition, called "Game Face," features images by over 100 of America's best photographers of girls and women engaged in sport. The advertisement for the exhibit in Friday's New York Times shows a photo of Corvallis High School runners winning the Valley Leage Championships in Salem, Ore., in 1995. The photo is by Cheryl Hatch. Organized by Game Face Productions and sponsored by Oppenheimer Funds, Inc., and Mass Mutual Financial Group, the photos will be on view from Tuesday through Friday, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from noon to 5:00 p.m. in the Courtyard Gallery.
