Triathlon: Natasha Filliol's Ishigaki Race Update From Natasha Filliol: Hi all, While I was anxious and excited to toe the line and test myself at the first World Cup this season, I started off with some bad luck. On the trip over to Japan I caught a virus, go figure after being healthy all winter long! The cold broke the night before the race, and I was up all night sick. I wasn't going to start the race, but in the end I gave it a shot since I traveled so far. I reminded myself that we can't always be 100% and as a junior I even won a medal at Duathlon Worlds with an infection, but this time it wasn't happening, as I had a lot of trouble breathing on the swim. These things happen at one time or another, but at least I got the bad luck over with and now I can set my sights on the next race. I've got some great fitness and I just want to get out there and do my thing! Next week i leave for the Mazatlan World Cup race and from there I will make my way to World Champs in Madeira, Portugal. Thanks again for all your support, Natasha Filliol
