Triathlon: Heart Zones Women in Training Prepares, Challenges and Heartens Women for Triathlon Series Heart Zones Women in Training Prepares, Challenges and Heartens Women for The Danskin Triathlon Series in Austin, TX and Seattle, WA SACRAMENTO, Calif., April 15-- Heart Zones Women In Training (WIT) is a weekend-long day camp that helps women of all shapes, ages, backgrounds and sizes achieve their goal of completing a triathlon. Strategically aligned with Danskin, Inc.'s all-women triathlon series currently in its fourteenth year, Heart Zones Women In Training further enhances the transformational experience of the Danskin Triathlon novice and experienced female triathlete. Multi-sport experts share empowering information with the female participants in a fun, safe and supportive environment. The Austin, TX Women In Training event will occur Friday, April 23rd through Sunday, April 25th, while Seattle is scheduled Friday, June 18th through Sunday, June 20th. Women In Training: The Anti-Boot Camp Heart Zones Women In Training is far from the "No pain, No gain" boot camp approach to fitness. Instead experienced health and fitness professionals teach, nurture, encourage and celebrate the female athletes that attend the Friday evening to Sunday afternoon event. Attendees receive structured seminars and workshops covering triathlon, swimming, cycling and Heart Zone training. Participants will not only gain insight and keys to be successful in their current season, but will gain knowledge to continue to improve their skills well into the future. "We learn, grow, laugh, sweat and breathe while we listen to our hearts," says Sally Edwards, the recognized Head Heart. "Women don't have enough quality outlets to do those things. We are changing that." The Danskin Challenge The Danskin Women's Triathlon Series is one of the country's most inspiring sporting events. Since 1990 more than 120,000 women have participated in this transformational event. The Danskin Women's Triathlon Series in its 15th year has now grown to serve eight (8) markets around the country. It challenges women both mentally and physically as they swim, bike and run together in support of each other and breast cancer research. The Danskin series is a charity event that benefits The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. If Women In Training proves successful in Austin and Seattle, there is an opportunity to roll it out to the other Danskin Triathlon markets.
