Posted: April 22, 2004 Athletics: Bun Run Announces Elite Field From David Monti (c) 2004 Race Results Weekly, all rights reserved RaceResultsWeekly.com The 2004 Schlotzsky’s Bun Run 5-K will be held on Sunday, 25-Apr, and elite athlete coordinator, John Conley, has announced his elite field. "It’s not as deep as I’d like, but the top-end quality is quite good," said Conley who also directs the Motorola Austin Marathon. Prize money will be paid to the top-5 finishers, with the winners each receiving $2000 plus the possibility of $500 for course records (13:34.25 and 15:28.60 for men and women, respectively) and an additional $500 for sub-13:30 and sub-15:20, respectively).
