U.S. 3000m and 5000m record holder Bob Kennedy will appear tomorrow morning on ESPN2's "Cold Pizza" morning show, part of a media tour scheduled for him by the New York Road Runners. According to Richard Finn, the Road Runners' media director, Kennedy will appear in the 8:00 hour on the mostly-sports talk program. Later in the day, Kennedy will appear at a press luncheon at the New York Athletic Club, and will also give a live audio interview at the Road Runners' website at 5:00 p.m. Eastern daylight time. A link for the interview, as well as instructions on how to send in a question, are available at www.nyrrc.org. On Thursday, Kennedy will tape an interview for the Tim McCarver Show, a nationally syndicated one-on-one sports talk show. Kennedy, 33, recently set a career best time for 10,000m of 27:37.45 at the Cardinal Invitational, providing him with a qualifying time for the Athens Olympics. He plans to compete in the U.S. Olympic Trials in July and try to make his third Olympic team. Subscribe to Race Results Weekly: www.raceresultsweekly.com.
