Posted: June 2, 2004 Athletics: Shayne Culpepper Teleconference Canceled The USA Track & Field media teleconference scheduled for Wednesday, June 2 at 1 p.m. Eastern Time featuring 2004 World Indoor Championships 3,000m bronze medalist Shayne Culpepper has been canceled. Culpepper, who was scheduled to compete in the 3,000 meters at the 2004 adidas Oregon Track Classic on Saturday, June 5 in Portland, Ore., has developed a sinus infection and is considered doubtful to compete this weekend. The third invitational event on USATF’s 2004 Outdoor Golden Spike Tour, the adidas Oregon Track Classic will be broadcast live on ESPN2 from 6-7 p.m. Eastern Time. From USATF.org. |
