Athletics: Quality Women's 10,000M Race At Utrecht

Correspondent Wim van Hemert reports that the 10,000m race organized last Friday, 18-Jun in Utrecht, NED produced several Olympic Games "A" qualifying times. The race was organized by Pieter Langerhorst, husband and manager of Lornah Kiplagat.

Kiplagat had planned to run, but withdrew on the advice of her doctor due to an injury. Also, three top Ethiopian women, including two-time Olympic gold medalist Derartu Tulu, decided not to start on the advice of their coach.
