Posted: July 24, 2004 Athletics: Hurdle Records Fall At Canadian Junior Track and Field Championships From: Scott St. Pierre. Frances Keating, of Ontario, broke the Saskatchewan Junior Open Record and The Canadian Junior Championship Record, winning the 100 Metre Hurdles at the 2004 Canadian Junior Track & Field Championships. Her time of 13.57 lowered the Championship mark of 13.69 set by World Champion Pertita Felicien in 1999 and the Saskatchewan Junior Open mark of 13.78, set by World Junior Semi-Finalist Jaime Cruickshank in 2004. Cameron Sahadath, of Ontario, broke the Saskatchewan Junior Open Record with his winning performance of 14.11 in the 110 Metre Hurdles. The old mark of 14.31 was set at last year's Canadian Junior Championships by Paul Martin. Comment on this story. |
