Posted: August 31, 2004 Athletics: The Fall Rhapsody Mountain Run, has been set for Sat 02 Oct 04 at Camp Fortune Distance: 10km approx
Description: The Fall Rhapsody Mountain Run has traditionally been the toughest footrace in the country for the distance, technical and physical challenges. Do not expect any personal best times here, so it is a very relaxed atmosphere. You will get satisfaction in participating in the classic trail running race. We have set a particularly interesting course this year. The course is on single track through the woods that constantly changes direction and pitch. It is a single loop the woods sporting three significant descents and two sustained climbs of 200m vertical each. Regardless of weather, this is one of the most interesting events you can do in your running career. "A total blast." The race is also the Eastern Canadian Mountain Running Championships.
