Triathlon:Two CEO Challenge Events In The USA In 2005

Ironman Motivations is pleased to announce that, for the first time, there will be two CEO Ironman Challenge programs in the USA in 2005! Due to overwhelming demand for a CEO Ironman Challenge in the Western USA, an event has been added to Ironman Coeur d’Alene in late June 2005.

This new event in Coeur d’Alene will be in addition to the extremely popular CEO Ironman Challenge at Ironman USA Lake Placid in late July, now entering its fifth year.

The CEO Ironman Challenge is a program specially designed for company CEO’s and President’s who are able to combine running their companies with training for an Ironman, and in many cases, looking after the needs of their families. The program includes the opportunity to compete with other CEO’s who have similar interests and challenges, full VIP service for the competitor and guests, the elimination of line-ups and hassles, receiving all the benefits accorded the Pro athletes, and positive publicity for corporations and their CEO’s.

Up to five CEO’s from each of the two USA CEO Challenges will have the chance to qualify for the CEO Ironman Challenge program at the Hawaii Ironman World Championship in October 2005. Here they will meet up to five CEO’s from the CEO Challenge in Austria and have the opportunity to compete for the title of ‘fittest CEO in the World’!

Here are the details on the two USA CEO Ironman Challenge programs:

CEO Challenge – Lake Placid, July 21 – 25, 2004

· Now entering its 7th year, Ironman USA Lake Placid is one of the most popular Ironman events in the world

· The swim takes place in the crystal clear waters of Mirror Lake, the bike course tours the Adirondack Mountains, and the race finishes on the 1980 Olympic Speed Skating Oval

· Great for families, with activities such as a kids Splash ‘n Dash race, wheeled bobsled rides, a gondola ride up Whiteface Mountain, boat cruise on Lake Placid, and much more

· Program includes five nights accommodation at the new Whiteface Lodge (www.thewhitefacelodge.com)

o This incredible lodge combines luxurious warmth with the historical detail of the Great Camps of the Adirondacks
