Posted: November 7, 2004 Triathlon: More than 1400 athletes signed up for 2005 Ironman Florida November 7, 2004: PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla.-More than 1,400 athletes have signed up for the 2005 Ironman Florida triathlon, set to take place on Saturday, November 5 in Panama City Beach. Registration has only been open on-line for 90 minutes, so any athletes who are interested in registering for this event, are urged to do immediately to avoid being closed out.
