"T-Bone," a nationally known kid's entertainer, fitness advocate and educator will be making his 7th appearance at the Carlsbad Marathon in Carlsbad, Calif. on January 15, 2005. The Keebler Kid's Marathon Mile at the Plaza Camino Real will feature races for the Diaper Set all the way up to the one-mile race for 7-12 year olds. "T-Bone" will be warming up the children and leading them to the finish line with enthusiasm and encouragement. The man behind the brightly colored costume is award-winning fitness educator Tim Arem M.Ed. Arem has a personal commitment to sharing health, fitness and entertainment with children and adults of all ages. As the energetic health and fitness character, "T-Bone," Arem has been involved in 500 races and has worked with 1.5 million families at fitness events for over 15 years. His mission "health and fitness as a way of life from childhood to adulthood" inspires and motivates thousands of families nationwide.
