Posted: February 9, 2005 Athletics: Army Ten-Miler Looking for Coordinator From David Monti (c) 2004 Race Results Weekly, all rights reserved RaceResultsWeekly.com OB Posting - Army 10-Miler From George Banker Commercial Sponsorship Coordinator - Company: Army Ten-Miler This position conducts research to identify sponsors, develops sponsorship proposals, networks and solicits commercial sponsorship, coordinates with the Staff Judge Advocate for legal counsel on agreements, and ensures that contractual obligations are coordinated and implemented. Also responsible for developing annual commercial sponsorship plan, identifying goals, priorities, strategies, resource requirements and measurable evaluation criteria. Maintains accountability for funds and services received. Supports other duties as assigned. The completion of National Agency Check is required. Qualifications required include work experience or education directly related to the duties to be performed. Knowledge of commercial sponsorship practices. Knowledge of advertising theory. Ability to establish a professional rapport with activity managers and sponsor representatives of varying management levels. College degree preferred. This is a full-time position with full benefits including medical, dental, 401K, vacation & sick leave. Position also qualifies for up to $100/month in free METRO vouchers. Office is located in Washington, DC at Fort McNair on the Potomac River. Free parking, gymnasium and dining hall privileges are also included.
