Triathlon: Shoreline Triathlon To Host "Best Of The US Amateur Triathlete Competition's" New York Qualifier

(St. Paul, MN - 2/23/05) The Shoreline Triathlon, produced by YellowJacket Racing of Rochester, NY, has been designated the New York Qualifier for the "Best of the US Amateur Triathlete Competition." The fastest male and female resident amateurs will earn the right to join qualifiers from the other 49 states at the "Best of the US Championship" in Gilford, NH on August 20.

The Shoreline Triathlon is a sprint distance (though organizers are discussing lengthening the courses) event that is staged at Hamlin Beach State Park west of Rochester. It's scenic venue was in contention to host the 2005 USAT National Age Group Championship.
