Posted: February 27, 2005 Triathlon: Plata and Moreno Win at Santos International Triathlon Sydney 2000 Olympian Oscar Galindez (ARG/BRA) raced to the final 2 km, eventually seeing 2004 Athens athlete Victor Plata (USA) slip away for his second win, this morning at the 14th annual Santos International Triathlon (Olympic distance), on the Atlantic Ocean beach in Santos, Brazil. On the women's side, Brazil's Carla Moreno (BRA) won by nearly two minutes over Athens Olympian Carol Montogomery (CAN). Here's Webrun.com.br's very well written story, with top-five results.
