Posted: March 17, 2005 Running: Treadmill World record Challenge on Friday Geoff Weber, 37, aims to break three world records on a Nautilus® treadmill Friday in San Francisco A Navy Officer, just home from a 2-year deployment, plans to break his own 50 kilometer world record and set new 50 mile and 100 kilometer world records in less than 8 hours Geoff Weber (of Seattle, WA) is a Guinness World Record™ holder, extreme athlete and Navy Intelligence Officer. He hopes to make history by breaking three world records running on a new Nautilus® T914 treadmill. First, Weber will break his own 50K world record (currently 3:46.12), and then he will continue on to break the 50 mile and 100K world records. Approximately 7 ˝ hours running continuously on a treadmill—it’s all in a day’s work. Monitor Weber’s progress throughout the day at: www.nautilus.com and follow the link. The world record attempt will take place at the IHRSA (International Health and Racquet Sportsclub). Weber, 37, has been a competitive athlete most of his life.
