Athletics: 3rd Zurich Marathon powered by ewz

All went well…

Lots of sun and smiling faces. The third Zurich Marathon was a great success. A total of 5825 runners started off on Sunday morning to run 42.195 km. 5520 of those reached the finish line within the 5 hours allowed. Congratulations! We would also like to give a big thanks to all 1645 volunteers, sponsors and partners, and we would like to express our gratitude to the city of Zurich for their support. And last but not least the organizing committee would like to thank the thousands of spectators, whose presence and cheers were a vital part of the success of the Zurich Marathon.

Mens winner: Stanley Leleito KEN, 2:10.16

Womens winner: Claudia Oberlin SUI, 2:34.38
