Posted: April 13, 2005 Athletics: Non-Profits to Win Big at BolderBOULDER Team Challenge BOULDER, Colo. - (April 12, 2005) - The BolderBOULDER 10K - set for Memorial Day, May 30 - has teamed up with Roche Colorado to offer the second annual BolderBOULDER Non-Profit Team Challenge. The winning team in this division will receive a $2,000 donation to their organization. The second place winner will receive $750 and third place winner will receive $250. Each non-profit can enter only one team of four to six runners, which must include at least one female participant. All team members must either be on staff with the non-profit or a board member. The winning team will be determined by adding up the times of the first four finishers per team. The team with the lowest total time will be the winner. This division is only open to Boulder County 501(c)(3) organizations whose mission includes a commitment to serving the community of Boulder County. Athletic based non-profits are excluded from this specific challenge. Teams can make this event even more fun and profitable by looking for a sponsor to match their "win" or by having their runners collect pledges toward their run by mile or by finish time.
