Triathlon: Rainbow Resort Guarantees Travel Expenses For Minnesota's "Best Of The US" Champions

(St. Paul, MN - 4/19/05) Although "Best of the US.." Management is seeking sponsorship that will cover, or significantly reduce, the travel expenses of the 100 athletes who will have earned the right to advance to the "Best of the US Championship" in Gilford, New Hampshire on August 20, Minnesota's champions can uncross their fingers knowing that all or most of their airfare and/or ground transportation costs will be guaranteed. Their benefactor is RAINBOW RESORT, Minnesota's "Athletes" Resort, who, if need be, will award each Minnesota champion a $300 stipend to be applied toward their travel expenses.

RAINBOW RESORT annually hosts several nordic ski races, a winter triathlon as well as marathon running and XC ski camps. They are also renown for their mountain bike trails and their disc golf course.
