Antrim will be representing Ireland in the Elite race. Sat. April 30th- Mon. He finished 69th in the mens, 78th overall out of 35,000 runners in a time of 2.31.01. Eoin, a Corkman based in London, has also been selected to race as an Elite for Ireland in the upcoming World Long Distance Duathlon Championships in Italy. Anne from Portrush has also shown good form lately and is entered into the European Powerman (LD Dutahlon) Championships this coming weekend. Anne races Elite in the 15km Run, 60km Cycle, 7.5km Run to be held in Venray, Holland. Irish International Elite Caroline Kearney is another athlete showing her winter training is paying off. She won the Brendan Carroll Memorial bike race last Saturday and also won the first Womens League bike race on Wednesday, beating some of Ireland top female cyclists including the current Irish Champion and also last years winner. New Administrator We'd like to welcome Sinead Morrissey on board as the new Triathlon Ireland Administrator. She takes over from Estelle Birdy who has done a great job in the past year or so looking after memberships, dealing with queries from members and officers, race sanctioning, working with sponsors and much more.
