Posted: May 2, 2005 Athletics: 2nd Annual Go Fast! 24 Hours of Boulder …The Run Boulder, CO (April 28, 2005) - On your mark, ready – set – go fast on May 21-22, 2005 for Gemini Adventure’s 2nd annual “Go Fast 24 Hours of Boulder…The Run” at the Boulder Reservoir. The unique race format, calls on team and solo categories (up to 10 people per team) to tackle as many laps as possible within a 24-hour time frame, with each participant required to complete at least one of the 7-mile laps. So bring your friends, your gear, your tent – and set-up for 24 hours of running fun at the Boulder Res! “We see the Go Fast 24 Hours of Boulder…The Run as a unique team-building opportunity for the active population here in Colorado, says Heather Hill, VP Communications, Go Fast Sports & Beverage Co., title sponsor of the event. “Go Fast Sports wants to encourage as many people in the business community as possible to start training now, and look forward to this challenge that will offer such an incredible sense of accomplishment.” The event will run from noon-to-noon Saturday May 21 through Sunday May 22 on the scenic trails at the Boulder Reservoir. The 7-mile dirt course offers the runners a flat, safe and controlled running environment that is conducive to a lot of friends, family and spectator support along the way. “Bottom line, this is not a hard-core race; it is hard-core fun, “says race director Reid Delman. “Essentially, it’s as difficult as you choose. Case in point, some runners ran their leg or legs of the relay, went home and napped, and came back in the morning for more,“ added Delman.
