Posted: May 26, 2005 Athletics: Connecticut Race Looking for Elites From David Monti © 2005 Race Results Weekly, all rights reserved RaceResultsWeekly.com Wallie Jahn, the owner of Road & Track Sports in New Milford, Conn., is also the race director for Friday's New Balance Moonlight Run 5-K. He still has openings for elite athletes in his field willing to compete for the following prize money: 1st $750 2nd 300 3rd 250 4th 150 5th 100 6th 75 7th 75 8th 50 9th 50 10th 25 There is also a $250 bonus for bettering the course records of 13:58 and 15:51, so a record-setting winner would earn $1000. The course is very flat, with an out and back configuration. The race starts at 8:00 p.m., and Wallie can offer overnight accommodations to a limited number of athletes.
