Triathlon: 11 States Crown "Best Of.." Champs On June 4-5!

(St. Paul, MN -6/6/05) June 4-5 was the busiest weekend on the "Best of the US" calendar, as 11 states--Mississippi, New Mexico, Arkansas, Iowa, Louisiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Nebraska, New Hampshire, Oklahoma and Vermont--crowned their state champions.

Decorated veteran Carol Smolsky, 45, of Papillion, and Dave Bracken, 36, of Omaha, if they accept their invitations, will represent the Cornhusker State at the "Best of US Championship" in August. Likewise, Urbandale, Iowa's Mike Morrison and rising star Mia Richter, 23, of Iowa City, will be asked to repesent the Hawkeye State in New Hampshore on August 20.
