Multisport: 2nd Annual My Way or the Tri Way – the ONLY pick-your-own race order triathlon/duathlon event

Aurora, CO (June 12, 2005) – Over 200 competitors will choose their own race order at the 2nd annual My Way or the Tri Way this Sunday June 12th, 2005 at 7:30am. Competing for prizes, participants will help raise money for the Challenged Athletes Foundation in the USAT Sanctioned 800-yard swim/14-mile bike/4-mile run event.

Participants have signed up for all six different triathlon race configurations plus various duathlon options. Prizes will be given to the winner of each category, as well as the male and female winners of each age-group.

“We're really excited to bring My Way or The Tri Way back in its second year because we had such wonderful feedback from participants last year,” said race director Alexia Bregman. “The athlete's really had a blast doing something different, and embraced the opportunity to help raise money for the Challenged Athletes Foundation. This amazing organization has a direct impact on people with disabilities by providing grants that enable them to participate in physical activities. From the recreational runner who needs a prosthetic leg to a paralympian's hand cycle, the Challenged Athletes Foundation has provided for thousands of people each year,” added Bregman.

The event is produced by Denver-based Tri Way Productions and presented by Go Fast Energy Drink. Other local and national sponsors include: TYR, Campus Cycles, Coors Light, Blue Moon and Tri Zone.
