Triathlon: Emma does not escape Alcatraz

Australian Triathlete Emma Snowsill advised the Escape from Alcatraz race organizer today that despite her recent training being firmly focused upon contesting the famous event in San Francisco Bay this weekend, she has regrettably been forced to withdraw.

The reason for her late scratching is a severe head cold which caused her medical advisors to rule against taking a long international flight for fear of damaging her ear drums. She is extremely disappointed over this and wishes to thank her sponsors and supporters for their understanding.
