Athletics: U2 Tribute Band - Elevation - to Rock Chicago BIG 10K

The inaugural Chicago BIG 10K, presented by the Chicagoland agents of Farmers Insurance, is just 3 weeks away - Sunday, July 17. This is a BIG new race for Chicago with more than 5,000 fun-loving runners expected to participate. Alumni, students and fans from schools all over the Midwest are being invited to come out as well to relive those tailgating moments in the "College Quad" being set up at the finish. The 6.2 mile city course starts and finishes adjacent to U.S. Cellular Field, making its way towards the beautiful Chicago lakefront and loops back.

This week's BIG news is the Finish Line Festival entertainment. Immediately following the race, there'll be a rockin' tailgate party featuring Elevation - the biggest U2 tribute band around. Elevation has traveled throughout the world entertaining fans with their authenticity and energy. A must-see for any music fan, this is one tribute band that will truly elevate your soul. '93 XRT personalities will be on-site, and Jennie-O Turkey Store will be grilling up tasty treats post race. And Equinox Fitness will be offering massages and Pilates stretches for all participants and their friends.
