The sublime beauty of the Arctic landscape has inspired explorers and poets for hundreds of years, yet for most of us it remains a distant dream. The recent cinematic success of "Atanarjuat - the fast runner", Canada's first feature-length film produced entirely by Inuit, has captured the imagination of runners everywhere. Imagine running through the crystal clear air and stunning silence of the Canadian Arctic wilderness.

This week-long event is borne of a unique partnership between the internationally acclaimed Toronto Marathon and Cruise North Expeditions, the new expedition cruise line owned by Canadian Inuit.
