At yesterday's pre-race press conference, the Jamaican said he was 70% sure that he would compete. Tonight's men's 100 dash was to feature an eagerly awaited showdown between Powell and Olympic champion Justin Gatlin. Also pulling out of tonight's competition is four-time 110m hurdles world champion Allen Johnson. Johnson suffered a minor calf strain prior to Tuesday's competition in Lausanne, Switzerland, and was limping visibly yesterday. Copyright © Bob Ramsak and Track Profile.
