Athletics: IAAF World Championships Radio Is Online!

HELSINKI - With one day to go before the start of competition of the 10th IAAF World Championships in Athletics, the IAAF is delighted to announce that IAAF WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS RADIO is already up and running, with web-stream coverage available on the IAAF website.

IAAF World Championships Radio is on 105.5 FM for residents in the Helsinki area, but can also be accessed, from anywhere in the world, at IAAF WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS RADIO.

As well as live radio commentary, there is an IAAF World Radio Studio in the Olympic stadium where Athletes and other personalities will be interviewed with reports presented by the IAAF Radio Team, to compliment the live commentators.

Radio interviews and reports will be presented from Commentary Positions, Mixed Zone, Press Conferences, and Athletes Village with quizzes, race calls features and historic archive from previous championships. Programming will be in English with hourly Finnish News Summaries, and the aim is to provide light hearted, informative and entertaining, capturing the unique atmosphere and spirit of the IAAF World Championships.
