Athletics: 2005 Canadian 10K Road Running Championships To Be Held In Winnipeg

(August 11, 2005, Ottawa) - Athletics Canada together with it's Provincial Branch partner Athletics Manitoba, are pleased to announce that the 2005 Canadian 10k Road Running Championships will be held in Winnipeg, Manitoba on Sunday, October 9th.

“As part of the Thanksgiving weekend we are looking forward to hosting some of Canada’s best road racers along side the active Winnipeg running community. The course is flat, fast and along the scenic Wellington Crescent route”, said Jack Booth, President of Athletics Manitoba.

The 2005 Canadian 10k Road Running Championships will serve as a conclusion to the domestic road running season.
