Athletics: Don’t Miss Your Chance To Help Select The Athlete Of The Year

Vote Is Now Open

Monte Carlo – As previously announced on www.iaaf.org, the IAAF is giving you the unique chance to help select the 2005 World Athlete of the Year.

With the vote now open at www.iaaf.org it will take just one click to pick your choice of Athlete of the Year (Man and Woman) from the Top 15 in the IAAF Overall World Rankings. Thanks to your votes, a shortlist of 5 will then be presented to a Special Jury of the International Athletic Foundation, who will then make a final selection of Athlete of the Year after taking consideration of results achieved at the World Athletics Final in Monaco (9-10 September).

The Vote Will Be Open For Just 3 Days!

The winner of the Athlete of the Year award will then be announced – live on stage -during the 2005 World Athletics Gala at the Hotel Fairmont, Monte-Carlo, on Saturday night.
