Athletics: USA Track & Field and Sport Court Announce Exclusive Partnership

Sport Court to Provide High Performance Synthetic Flooring for Competition and Training

INDIANAPOLIS and SALT LAKE CITY, Sept. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- USA Track & Field (USATF) and Sport Court, a division of Connor Sport Court International, today jointly announced a new partnership in which Sport Court becomes the official supplier of athletic competition and training surfaces for USATF. After a global search process, USATF awarded Sport Court an exclusive and unprecedented five-year contract which runs through 2010.

This partnership brings together two industry leaders - USATF, the national governing body for track and field, long-distance running, and race walking in the United States - and Sport Court, the U.S. market leader in performance sports flooring.

USATF will rely upon Sport Court's advanced track surfaces, including its new FlashTrack, which features Nike Grind (TM) - an option offered exclusively in Connor Sport Court sport surface products. Nike's unique program recycles athletic shoes and then Sport Court incorporates these high performance recycled materials into sports surfacing products that benefit the environment and local communities. FlashTrack's environmentally friendly characteristics also qualify the surface for U.S. Green Building Council LEED credits in many instances.

Strategic Partnership off the Track
Moving far beyond athletic surfaces, the USATF/Sport Court partnership includes a mutual commitment to various health and fitness initiatives, ranging from youth fitness activities, to coaching education activities and beyond.
