Triathlon: CEO Ironman Challenge 2006 Schedule

CEO Challenge LLC is pleased to announce the 2006 CEO Ironman Challenge schedule. Due to high demand for more CEO Challenge races, Ironman Australia has been added to give CEOs from Australasia the chance to compete for the 2006 CEO Ironman Challenge World Championship in Hawaii in October. Also, the European CEO Ironman Challenge has been moved to Ironman France – Nice for 2006.

All CEO Ironman Challenge events include the following:

* Up to five (5) 2006 Ford Ironman World Championship slots (depending on the number of CEOs entered in each qualifying event)
* CEOs who qualify for Hawaii will have the chance to compete for the title of Fittest CEO in the World®!
* Up to 30 slots into the sold-out Ironman races
* Four nights, first-class accommodation as close to the start / finish area as possible
* Full VIP access passes for the CEO and his / her guest
* Race-day guides who will ensure the guests of each CEO gain access to the best places to see their competitor, including positioning in the finish chute to put the medal on the CEO
* Customized racing uniform, and CEO Ironman Challenge apparel and gifts
* Social functions, meals, and special receptions that will allow the CEOs to get to know each other, while also allowing them to properly prepare for their race
* Private Awards Brunch the day after the race
* n-site coaches and hosts that include some of the best known names in Ironman (Paula Newby Fraser, Paul Huddle, and Roch Frey for the US events)
* Athlete check-in with the Pros, special low numbers, special bike rack locations, and lots of special treatment
* A portion of the entry fees will be donated to charity (Prostate Cancer Foundation in the US)
* A biography on each CEO, and their company, will be featured on the CEO Challenges web site, and in a printed program

Ironman Australia, NSW – April 2 (www.ironmanoz.com)

* One of the world’s most popular Ironman races, and one of the most difficult to get into. Australians must qualify at another event to gain entry
* Race will be open to CEOs from any country, but will serve as the Australasia CEO Ironman Challenge Championship – top finishers from Oceania and Asia will win the Title of Fittest CEO in Australasia
* New race location – Port Macquarie on the beautiful NSW Holiday Coast, only a one-hour flight from Sydney
* One of the best Ironman VIP packages in the world
* Includes 4 nights accommodation at the Rydges Resort – steps away from the race start and finish area (note, to ensure a hotel reservation, CEOs must enter by December 15, 2005)
* Cost - $5,000 Australian (approx. $3,900 US)

Ironman France, Nice – June 25 (www.ironmanfrance.com)

* What can we say, it’s the world famous Cote d’Azur and the French Riviera – where the Europeans come to play
* Open to CEOs from any country - this race will serve as the European CEO Ironman Challenge Championship – winner will be declared the Fittest CEO in Europe
* CEOs will stay at the exceptional Hotel – Casino Palais de La Méditerranée on the Promenade des Anglais, right across from the beach
* Pre-race helicopter tour of the race course!
* Bilingual hosts will pick up CEOs from the airport, and be dedicated to looking after their needs all week
* Cost – 5,000 euros

Ford Ironman Coeur D’Alene, Idaho – June 25 (www.ironmancda.com)

* The CEO Challenge at Ironman Coeur d’Alene received great reviews in 2005
* Incredibly spectator friendly course – each guest was able to see their CEO at least 6 times on race day
* Includes 4 nights at the beautiful Coeur d’Alene Resort – on the lake, and literally 100 yards from the race start, Ironman Village, transition area, and finish line!

Ford Ironman Usa Lake Placid, New York – July 23 (www.ironmanusa.com)

* Home to the first CEO Ironman Challenge – now in its 6th year!
* Always the most popular CEO Challenge due to the beauty of the course, support from the town, and proximity to major cities in the Northeast
* Accommodation at the ‘all suites’ Whiteface Lodge – last year the CEOs were simply blown away by all the amenities and attention to detail

CEO Triathlon Challenge® – Monaco Half Ironman (www.halfironman-monaco.com)

CEO Challenge LLC is pleased to announce that, for the first time ever, we will host a CEO Triathlon Challenge - held at the Monaco Half Ironman on September 3! Although not a full Ironman distance event, finishing this challenging race will still be a major achievement.
