Posted: October 2, 2005 Triathlon: OLN Television Coverage of Triathlon COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Oct. 1, 2005) - Set your VCRs and Tivos because triathlon is going to be on the little screen several times over the next few days. On Saturday night (8 p.m. EDT, Oct. 1), elite triathlete Karen Smyers will be the focus of the Fearless series on Outdoor Life Network (OLN). Smyers (Lincoln, Mass.) is a six-time U.S. national champion and two-time world champion at the intermediate distance. At age 44, she is still going strong after surviving thyroid cancer and two major accidents. If you miss Saturday's program, the show will re-air on Sunday at 3 p.m. EDT. On Monday (Oct. 3) at 6 p.m. EDT, OLN will air the International Triathlon Union World Triathlon Championships held on Sept. 10-11 in Gamagori, Japan.
