In a 41 minute ceremony at St. Patrick's Church in Burrillville, R.I. last Friday, Mark Carroll and Amy Rudolph were married after some 14 years of dating. They were married during a traditional Catholic mass given by Fr. Bernie O'Reilley.

Carroll's brother, Paul, was his best man while Rudolph's sister, Jessica, was her maid of honor. The parents of both the bride and groom, Craig and Nancy Rudolph and John and Anne Carroll, were in attendance. The Carrolls came from County Cork in Ireland to attend.

Although it rained on and off all day, it was merely warm and humid when the newly married couple emerged from the church to have their photographs taken. They were greeted by over 100 friends and family who attended, including many from the athletics community including athletes Jen Rhines, Carrie Tollefson, Marie Davenport, Kim Smith and Keith Kelly, and coaches Jimmy Harvey and Ray Treacy. Your editor and his wife, Jane, also attended.

The couple held a festive reception at the Marriott Hotel in Providence later that evening, which included an Irish step dancing performance, a gift from the bride to the groom.

Carroll, 33, and Rudolph, 32, will continue to live in the home they own in Providence.
