Athletics: Las Vegas International Marathon Releases Elite Field

The new Las Vegas International Marathon, scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 4 in Las Vegas, N.V., has released its elite field. The winners will be vying for a $50,000 first prize, plus the women will receive an as yet undetermined headstart and the first athlete across the finish line will earn an additional bonus of $50,000.

This is the first year that the race will managed by Chicago-based Devine Racing, a for-profit event management company which also manages the City of Los Angeles Marathon, the Salt Lake City Marathon and the Chicago Half-Marathon.
