Posted: November 30, 2005 Athletics: Diack to address Opening Session at USATF Annual Meeting JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - International Association of Athletics Federations President Lamine Diack will address attendees at the Opening Session of USA Track & Field's 2005 Annual Meeting Wednesday evening in Jacksonville, Florida. The Opening Session will begin at 7:00 p.m., at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Jacksonville. Celebrating the theme "Our Time," the 27th USA Track & Field Annual Meeting, presented by Sport Court, will run through Sunday, December 4. The USATF Annual Meeting brings together more than 1,000 of the sport's officials, coaches, administrators, athletes and supporters, who come together to chart the future of the sport. Diack, who has served as IAAF President since November 8, 1999, last attended a USATF Annual Meeting in December of that year in Los Angeles. The Opening Session will feature remarks from USATF President Bill Roe and the annual State of the Sport address from CEO Craig Masback. Additional highlights of the Opening Session include the 2005 President's Awards, recognition of USATF sponsors and the annual Year-in-Review video.
