Responsible for the national coaching network, the HPD will supervise and evaluate all staff and coaches working at the NTC and within the national program.

The HPD will be resident in Victoria and will report to the Executive Director at the National Office in Toronto and maintain a close working relationship with the Board of Directors through relevant Committees and with external agencies such as Sport Canada, the Canadian Olympic Committee, the Canadian Commonwealth Games Committee, Pacific Sport and the International Triathlon Union.

Triathlon Canada is looking for someone who has the following key qualifications:

• Olympic and international experience with a history of success – not only understands what it takes to be the best in the world but more importantly, how to get there.
• High level of strategic planning and implementation abilities.

The ability to speak Canada’s two official languages, French and English, will be an asset, as will a background in the sport of triathlon. A detailed job description can be reviewed at .

Applications with a resume and a minimum of three references should be submitted to the address above by January 6, 2006 to the attention of the Executive Director. Electronic submissions are acceptable.

Triathlon Canada is an equal opportunity employer and thanks all applicants for their interest, however only those applicants who will be invited to interview with us will be contacted. Financial support for this position is provided by Sport Canada.
