Posted: December 8, 2005 Triathlon: Anything Is Possible Now on DVD Saguenay, December 5th, 2005 – “Anything Is Possible”, a documentary based on the life of Pierre Lavoie is now available on DVD. It includes a bonus of more than 15 minutes of scenes never seen on tv, as well as a version with English subtitles. The DVD is now available online at www.pleinvent.ca. Going on with your life after facing the death of a child is not an easy business… imagine losing two children. Pierre Lavoie went through the death of both Laurie and Raphael who died from lactic acidosis a hereditary disease specific to a region of Quebec province. Instead of giving up, Pierre decided to fight. Thanks to his efforts, the gene is now identified. Even if he carries the gene responsible for a fatal disease, Pierre Lavoie is a great athlete. Last October, he ran the Hawaii Ironman, one of the most physically challenging race on earth, for the 8th time. He came back as the world champion in the Master 40-44 age group for the second year in a row and established a new world record! “Anything Is Possible”, illustrates the parallel between life’s ordeals and physical challenges. In both cases, one needs a lot of strength, courage and determination to reach one’s goal. Follow Pierre Lavoie go through mental, physical and emotional challenges to reach his two goals: finding a cure for lactic acidosis and winning the Ironman. Les Productions Plein Vent, a young production company from Quebec, is proud to present this documentary on DVD. “Anything Is Possible” is a realization of Caroline Savard and Patrick St-Pierre. “Anything Is Possible” on DVD, an inspiring gift for Christmas!
