AK - The Alaska State Triathlon Championship in Knik, AK, on August 6 (Intermediate Distance).
AZ –Sahuarita Lake Triathlon in Sahuarita, AZ on May 29 (1K swim – 25K bike – 5K run).

The fastest male and female resident amateur at each of the qualifiers earn the right to represent themselves and their states at the “Best of the US Championship” in Excelsior, MN (Lake Minnetonka) on September 16.
