Posted: January 18, 2006 Triathlon: Flint Hills Triathlon To Host 2006 “Best Of The US” Kansas Qualifier (St. Paul, MN – 1/18/2006)–– ”Best of the US” Management is pleased to announce that the third annual Flint Hills Triathlon will host the 2006 “Best of the US” Kansas State Qualifier. The fastest male and female resident amateur will earn the right to represent the Sun Flower State at the “Best of the US Championship” in Excelsior, MN on September 16. The Flint Hills Triathlon, slated for June 4, features intermediate and sprint distance races (the intermediate distance event is the official “Best of the US” qulaifier) and is staged at Tuttle Creek State Park north of Manhattan, KS . “This ambitious young event already has a great reputation. It has a wonderful venue, scenic courses, terrific volunteers and great management. We couldn’t be happier that the Flint Hills Triathlon is part of the “Best of..” program,” says Jerry MacNeil, “Best of the US” PR Director.
