Posted: January 29, 2006 Athletics: Webb Is Fourth In Spanish Cross Country From David Monti © 2005 Race Results Weekly, all rights reserved RaceResultsWeekly.com American miler Alan Webb finished fourth today at at the 23rd Cross de Haro international cross country race in Haro, Spain. The 23-year-old from Reston, Va., ran with the leaders throughout until the final 500 meters of the 11.3 km race. Spaniards Juan Carlos de la Ossa and Jose Rios took the top two spots, with Rwandan Dieudonne Disi third. In the first international cross country appearance of his career, Webb was fifth last weekend in Valladolid, Spain, over a 10.75 km course. Comment on this story. |
