Posted: January 31, 2006 Triathlon: Cadence Triathlon & ePerformance Triathlon Cycling Camp April 14-23, Pinehurst, NC Pinehurst, NC (January 30, 2006) Cycling makes up nearly 80% of most any triathlon, so why don’t participants spend more time training on their bikes? World-class coaching group ePerformance High Performance Consultants (www.ePerformance.ca) is hosting a no-excuses-for-2006 training camp, April 14-23, in Pinehurst, NC, devoted mainly to triathlon’s bike leg. “There is no substitution for putting in quality miles,” says Luc Morin, one of Canada’s top professional athletes, exercise physiologist and ePerformance’s head coach. “Beginner and intermediate triathletes and duathletes will go home with a secret weapon for the 2006 racing season.” Campers will get professional bike-fit sessions, participate in swim, bike and run assessments and train in small groups supervised by ePerformance’s highly experienced coaches. Daily sessions are carefully planned, focusing on cycling volume and sport-specific skills, but will also include swim and run sessions. Workout volumes and pace will be adjusted for the individual athlete’s abilities. Coaches include Morin, head coach Christian Camden, of Cadence Triathlon, and former Swiss pro triathlete and cyclist Francisca Russli. Pinehurst, NC, is not only known for world-class golf courses, but also its smooth, scenic roads. Registration for Cadence Triathlon & ePerformance’s Triathlon Cycling Camp, April 14-23, 2006, costs $925.00 USD before Feb. 17th ($1,050.00 USD after Feb. 17), and include accommodations, fitness assessments, classroom sessions and materials, workout sessions, snacks, and sponsor goody bags. Airport transportation is available ($50 one way). ePerformance’s triathlon training camps are sponsored by nuun, Profile Design, Polar, and Tifosi Optics. Comment on this story. |
