Athletics: Hospital Hill Takes U.S. Women's Half-Marathon Championship

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City has signed on as a sponsor for the 33rd edition of the Hospital Hill Half-Marathon on June 3, according to USATF, allowing this difficult road race will serve as the USA Half-Marathon Championship for women.

Prize money will be paid 10-deep for U.S. citizens who are bonafide members of USATF as follows:

First, $5,000
Second, $3,000
Third, $2,000
Fourth, $1,000
Fifth, $500
Sixth, $400
Seventh, $300
Eighth, $250
Ninth, $150
Tenth, $100
