Highlights for February include:

* A colorful and festive fitness experience greets those at the 31st annual Bermuda International Race Weekend.

* Now in mid-season form, top scholastic runners fly around the oval in the Citibank Hispanic Games at the New Balance Track & Field center at the armory in upper Manhattan.

* With a pre-dawn start on the strip, the field is greeted by fireworks, but the real show came over the last hundred yards as four women sprinted for the tape in the New Las Vegas Marathon.

* Kids running to help other kids…in the annual Ronald Mcdonald House “Kids Charity Fun Run” from Central Park, presented by JPMorgan Chase.

* Blistering the roads in Tempe, Arizona, two time gold medalist Haile Gebrselassie, averaging 4:30 per mile, sets a new half marathon World Record.

* Scholastic stars, All-Americans and Olympians mix it up in the New Balance Games at the Armory Track & Field Center.

* “Run as One” is the theme in the energetic Thomas G. Labrecque Classic, now with an event in Central Park and in Washington D.C., with all proceeds donated to Memorial Sloan-Kettering’s Lung Cancer Research Fund.
